Adult Ministries

The following links highlight the ministries of our church. If something interests you, we hope that you will become involved!

Sunday Worship & Sermons

Our talented worship team leads us in song in both the morning and evening service. There are frequent solos and occasional concerts that serve as a blessing to the congregation as well.

God ministers to us through the speakers in our morning and evening services. The sermons serve to educate, to encourage and to challenge church members. You can read sample sermon notes by following the link to the left.

Sunday Sermons

Secret Pals is headed up by Emma Bourque. It is open to adult women of any age. Once a year names are drawn for your 'Secret Pal'. Through the year you send and receive cards to mark special occasions, or just a thinking of you card. When it is time to draw a new name a banquet is held, gifts exchanged, and Secret Pals revealed. Please e-mail cog@cornerstonechurchofgod.ca if you would like to have a Secret Pal!

Mid-Week Bible Study

On Wednesday night there is a mid-week Bible Study held at the church. The Bible study is held in a relaxed atmosphere that encourages questions and discussion. A wide variety of topics are covered, and are at times facilitated by lay members of the church.

Learning occurs by studying the scriptures and discussing how they relate to the chosen topic, as well as how they practically apply to your life.

Adult Library

The adult library is housed downstairs. It includes books, devotionals, tapes, videos & CDs. All materials are available out on loan.

Donations to expand the library are gladly accepted.

Prayer Pals

Our new Prayer Pals program is an adult and children's ministry. Adults in the church who participate randomly select a 'passport' containing a Sunday School child's picture and information. They then pray regularly for this child. See the Photos link for pictures of some of the Prayer Pals!
