I knew something was missing in my life through the years, and not until one Sunday afternoon when my son and his wife were visiting did I come to the place where I knew that he had found something very special. The peace in his voice and the joy on his face, and the way that he spoke was amazing. After they left that day I told my husband that I wanted to find that kind of peace too.

That week I went out and bought a Bible. Had no idea what I was looking for but something told me the answer would be in there. I had never owned a Bible, never read one and had no idea what to look for or what was ahead of me.

I know now that God sent my son that day to show me what was missing in my life!!! It took me a year or more to finally go
to a church that understood what I was looking for, and one that was totally different from the way I had been brought up...and on June 10th,2001 I gave my heart to Jesus and was baptized on Sept 16th, 2001, with my son,daughter-in-law and grandson. What a day!!!!

I thank God everyday for all his many, many blessings...
