Giving your life to Jesus is the most important decision you will ever make. Please read on for God's Plan of Salvation.
God's Plan of Salvation
In the gospel of Mark Chapter 8 verse 36 Jesus asked His disciples this simple question:
“What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul”.
Many people today say that they do not feel that God would reject them because they are good law abiding people. The scripture puts it this way:
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
Every person has sinned and not one person that was ever born is good enough to enter into heaven with a holy God. Every one has fallen short.
Every person needs to take God’s gift of salvation. Consider this...
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to His mercy He saved us”
“God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8)
"The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23)
“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name” (John 1:12)
My friend, you may be thinking to yourself that there is no hope for you because of some things you might have done in the past. The Lord Jesus Christ is not as concerned with your past as He is with your future. He wants you to spend eternity with Him.
As the scripture says "if you receive Him you become one of His children”
Here is a simple prayer that you can pray to receive Him.
Dear Lord
I know that I am a sinner.
I know that I cannot save myself.
I now put all of my trust in Your sacrifice on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins.
Lord Jesus I ask you to come into my heart and to become Lord of my life.
Make me a new person and help me start my life over again.
In Jesus Name Amen.
If you prayed that prayer and truly meant it you have become a Christian.
